Potters Wheel Weekend Pot Throwing Classes Clay To Kiln

Held most months these classes are designed to develop the skills of throwing on the potters wheel. All levels are welcome, from absolute beginners to competent throwers wishing to increase their confidence and the size of their pots.

Classes are limited to a maximum of 6, each student having a dedicated wheel. All the facilities of a professional workshop are available and there is an unlimited amount of top quality clay ready to throw.

It may be hard work but you will have fun!

Ruardean Garden Pottery is a professional production workshop established in 1979. For 25 years the pottery produced a wide range of wheel thrown terracotta. Now it concentrates on a much smaller range of thrown traditional garden pottery together with a range of limited edition press moulded plant pots.

The aim of the classes is to develop skills rather than take home lots of pots. Any pots you might want to keep could be collected later once they have been fired. If you would like to discuss anything about the course ring me on 01594 543577.

Schedule: Saturday and Sunday 9.30 - 5.00.

Cost: £125. Includes tea and coffee at mid-morning & mid-afternoon. Lunches of bread, cheese, fruit & salad etc.
