One important lesson for woodturners to learn is not to use the chuck key for removing the chuck from the headstock; doing this can damage the hole in the chuck as well as risking breaking the key. This C spanner has been specially produced for the 100mm Clubman, Goliath and previous model Woodturner's range of chucks. This should be classed as essential equipment for all users of these chucks.

Deliveries to EU countries will be charged as follows:

All consignments are delivered on our next day service (usually) and free of charge with the following exceptions:

Special delivery services

a) Pre-noon Next Day Delivery - Axminster recognizes that some customers may need products in a hurry. A pre-noon overnight delivery service can be arranged at an additional charge of £6.00. This service is offered for deliveries made on Monday to Friday only and is subject to payment by credit/debit card or PayPal. Orders must be placed before 4pm the previous working day, excluding Saturday and Sunday (this service is not guaranteed).

b) Scottish Offshore Islands, Isle of Man, Channel Islands - consignments over £50 and under 1.5kg are delivered free. Delivery on other consignments will be as follows: 1.5kg - 20kg £10/21kg - 60kg £40/61kg - 90kg £50 For details of carriage charges on consignments under £50 or exceeding 90kg please contact us for a quotation. c) Axminster Transport Delivery (UK Mainland only) - a personal delivery service on our own transport is available on any consignment for an additional charge of £49 or £69 as specified in the listings. Entry for each machine which includes offloading onto a level area with a hard surface. Certain machines can only be delivered via this method and these are clearly indicated, destinations north of Edinburgh and offshore islands (including the Isle of Wight) will incur an additional charge. d) Overseas Delivery - See under overseas sales. N.B All the above carriage rates apply to catalogue items only. Special orders, i.e. products outside our current range, will be subject to normal or extra postage charges.

If it is necessary to return an item please contact Customer Services Freephone 0800 371822 who will allocate an official Returns Number and advise the correct procedure. Proof of purchase, such as our invoice or receipt will be required. Please note to obtain a full refund for unwanted items you must return them unused and in original packaging otherwise handling fees will apply. Regrettably, we cannot be held responsible for postage costs incurred when returning items without prior authorisation. Any non-stock special orders returned as not required will be subject to a handling and restocking charge.

Unwanted returns

Should your purchases be unsuitable and you wish to return them to us for a credit or to exchange then the following conditions will apply:

• Goods must be returned within 7 working days from the receipt of the goods.

• Our customer service department must be contacted before any return is made to obtain the necessary returns reference.

• All items should be returned in their original packaging and a saleable condition to obtain a full refund.We reserve the right to charge for repackaging where applicable.

• Carriage charges for unwanted returns will be at your expense.

• Transport packaging should be sufficient for the method of carriage.We cannot accept any responsibility for damage caused by your carrier.

Shortages

• Should any consignment be sent to you incomplete please contact our customer service department within 7 working days who will be pleased to investigate this for you and to arrange for the completion of your order. Please be aware that back-ordered items that are “to follow” do not constitute shortages.

Damaged goods

• Should you receive any parcel from us that contains damaged goods this should be notified to customer services, as soon as possible, but no later than 7 days from receipt, who will arrange for collection and replacement.

• If any damaged items have been used they will be deemed acceptable by you and will not be considered for replacement, only repair. For the avoidance of doubt, nothing in this policy shall affect or modify your statutory rights of cancellation in accordance with our published terms and conditions.
